GreenMaster-XXL
Dual plate heat exchanger
GreenMaster-XXL is a ventilation unit designed to increase energy efficiency in buildings. The unit utilizes two plate heat exchangers placed in series to efficiently transfer heat and defrost any ice that may form. By using two heat exchangers in series, the unit can achieve a high degree of heat recovery, which can reduce energy costs for heating and cooling in a building.
The supply air to the unit passes through the defrost damper and then in a straight airflow through the heat exchangers. This heats up or cools down the supply air depending on the season, reducing energy consumption and improving comfort in the building. The heat exchangers are designed to be easy to clean, making it easier to maintain the unit and ensure its performance.
The exhaust air passes through the heat exchanger vertically in two stages, effectively defrosting any ice that may have formed. This makes the unit more efficient than other ventilation systems that use counterflow heat exchangers, where defrosting may be less effective and negatively impact performance.
GreenMaster-XXL is available in 13 standard sizes and can be customized to customer-specific requirements for larger sizes and configurations. The unit can be used both indoors and outdoors and can be supplied with or without control equipment.
A dry efficiency of up to 92% according to the standard SS-EN308:1997 is possible for this product. This means that a high percentage of the energy supplied to the fan is converted into airflow without adding moisture to the air.
GreenMaster-XXL is also designed not to transfer any odors between exhaust air and supply air. This ensures that the air circulating in the building is clean and fresh. The unit has a wide flow range that can handle a variety of ventilation applications, from small buildings to large commercial properties. The flow range extends from 0.2 m³/s to 16 m³/s (720 m³/h to 58,000 m³/h), allowing the user to customize the system as needed.
GreenMaster-XXL comes with section defrosting as a standard feature, further enhancing the system's efficiency. Section defrosting means that the heat exchanger is divided into sections that can be defrosted individually. This reduces the risk of ice formation and extends the system's lifespan.
In summary, GreenMaster-XXL is an efficient ventilation unit with high performance that can be adapted for a range of applications. It is designed to increase energy efficiency while ensuring good air quality in the building. With section defrosting as a standard feature and the ability to handle a wide flow range, GreenMaster-XXL is a reliable choice for buildings that require high performance and low energy costs.

Choosing size and type
The green area below represents the recommended airflow range for optimal energy efficiency, while the blue area represents a higher airflow level that can be selected for increased performance. The yellow area is intended for applications that require high airflow and where air resistance is higher, such as when using an external heat exchanger or similar.
It's important to note that the end of the green range is approximately 1.5 m/s above the built-in battery, the end of the blue range is 2.0 m/s, and the end of the yellow range is 4.0 m/s. These speeds are relevant for selecting the GreenMaster size and help optimize energy efficiency.
It's also worth mentioning that GreenMaster-XXL and GreenMaster-XXL-MiniMax have the same width and height, but the fan/filter section is more compact in XXL-MiniMax. This allows XXL-MiniMax to be advantageous in applications where space is limited or where a more compact unit is desired. GreenMaster-XXL-MiniMax is shorter because it uses two parallel wall-mounted EC fans, and the filter is slightly shorter than in the standard GreenMaster-XXL.
